Industrial Brush Manufacturer
Widdop
deCourcy Ltd. was created by merging the companies Charles Widdops
Ltd. and F. DeCourcy Limited in 1993, since then we have
been manufacturing industrial roller brushes, strip brush and draught
excluders whilst still retaining the making of hand drawn brushes
for which Charles Widdops was best known for.
We have manufactured many types of brushes to suit a wide range
of applications, extending to printing, auto-motive, textile and
food industries and have supplied to over fifty countries world
wide.
Our Products are manufactured on site at our factory in Allerton,
Bradford. There we have a full engineering and fabrication facility
and coupled with our drawing office service, it enables us to offer
highly competitive quotes, especially for purpose designed units
and prototypes.
We are an ISO 9002 Quality assured company, thereby offering a
quality product, on time deliveries, quick turn round, and with
working closely with the customer we can supply a quality and service
they want. Plus offering details on request to cover for the CE
markings, with trace ability for all material used and country of
origin if other than UK.
Our drawing office aids the customer at the outset of a quotation,
to jointly design the specialist brush product, thus saving time
and cost on producing numerous samples when one will suffice. And
once an order has been placed, the customer then has a working drawing
for the items for the end users reference and theirs, in case of
spares.
Industrial Roller Brushes
Industrial Roller
Brushes can be manufactured from various materials, with the shafts
made from either solid bar or tube, to suit the Customer requirements.
The brushes can be fully fitted at our factory or supplied to the
customer as a loose coil, where they can be fitted to the roller
on site. There are many ways in which the strip can be attracted
to the roller, the most common is to affix one end to the shaft
and spiral the brush until it has fully or partially covered the
shaft. We can also offer various clamping methods as well as retainer
end caps. The externally rolled strip brush is available in its
usual form or as a single ring, however, strip brush can also be
manufactured as inverted coils or single rings which can be formed
into most shapes to suit a customers particular application.
